Lynn Rogers Plans Visit to Hocker Grove Middle School for the JAG-K
Initiation and Installation Ceremony
TOPEKA – Kansas State
Treasurer Lynn Rogers plans to visit Hocker Grove Middle School on Friday, Nov.
12 from 4:20 p.m. to 5 p.m. to speak with students in the Jobs for America’s
Graduates (JAG-K) program and celebrate their initiation and installation
ceremony as a program.
“I hope to empower
students with the information they need to make their educational dreams a
reality. Those dreams may be a two-year or four-year public or private school,
vocational or technical training, or a registered apprenticeship program,” said Treasurer Rogers. “Congratulations
to the hard working staff and students at Hocker Grove
Middle School for the work they are doing to create a successful JAG-K
program.”
Treasurer Rogers plans to
visit all 79 JAG-K programs across the state throughout the next year.
