Treasurer
Lynn Rogers Plans Visit to Shawnee Mission North and Shawnee Mission West
JAG-K Programs
TOPEKA – Kansas State
Treasurer Lynn Rogers plans to visit Shawnee Mission North High School on Friday,
Nov. 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Shawnee Mission West High School from
12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. to speak with students in the Jobs for America’s Graduates
(JAG-K) program.
“It’s important for
students to have the tools they need to plan for the career step they want to
take after high school. I hope to empower students with the information they
need to make their educational dreams a reality. Those dreams may be a two-year
or four-year public or private school, vocational or technical training, or a
registered apprenticeship program,” said
Treasurer Rogers.
Treasurer Rogers plans to
visit all 79 JAG-K programs across the state throughout the next year.
