Treasurer Lynn Rogers to Visit Twin Valley Developmental Services
TOPEKA – Kansas State Treasurer Lynn Rogers will visit Twin Valley Developmental Services Wednesday, Nov. 17 in Greenleaf, KS from 1:20 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Treasurer Rogers will begin the tour at the Greenleaf Office Day/Work Center with an informal meet and greet, then will tour residential housing. At 3:10 p.m., he will tour the Beattie Day/Work Center, Recycling Center and Thrift Store at 507 Williams St. for an informal meet and greet. At 4:40 p.m., Treasurer Rogers will conclude the tour with a drive through Waterville to see the location of the Wearhouse Thrift Store. He will then conclude his visit with Twin Valley Developmental Services at Soup Day at the Waterville Firehouse located at 315 S. Colorado to visit with the community and to answer any questions about ABLE accounts, 529 Learning Quest accounts, and unclaimed property searches.
“I look forward to spending the day in Greenleaf to better understand how Kansans living with disabilities are being supported with these services,” said Treasurer Rogers.
